Charles Oliveira successfully defeated Dustin Poirier in the UFC 269 event at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, United States on Sunday (12/12). Oliveira won via a rear naked choke in the third round.
Oliveira is able to defend the UFC lightweight championship belt. The one found earlier, when defeating Michael Chandler.

Charles Oliveira is believed to be facing Justin Gaethje next. Justin Gaethje was able to beat Chandler and is now ranked second in the UFC lightweight standings.
Islam Makhachev, a UFC fighter from Dagestan who is also the brother of former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov ‘beats the war’. Islam is like giving a warning to Charles Oliveira!

Furthermore, Islam is predicted to face the next rank, Beneil Dariush. The plan is that the UFC will schedule a match for both of them in early 2022.
Islam Makhachev himself has a basis for the martial art of sambo. He said that he favored Dustin Poirier, but it was also fun to present a sambo vs jiu-jitsu battle (the basis of Charles Oliveira’s martial arts).
