Now, Inés intends to score points in the world ranking to qualify for the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games.

Inés Castillo commented that she is happy with her progress in the competition “because she knew what she was capable of.” In addition, she added that she felt nervous, due to the level of her rivals, but that did not stop her. “On the court I always left everything, fighting until the last point”, He commented.

His achievement has helped Peru rise in the medal table. Currently, the national representatives have obtained a total of 18 medals.

Now, Inés has her sights set on a new goal: the Badminton World Cup, to be held on December 8. The athlete also commented on her strategy to seek her classification to the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games.

“In badminton, the classification is by world ranking, for this I have to travel a lot to different international championships and thus improve my ranking to qualify,” he mentioned.
