Chi edged Castillo by 2 sets to 0 (21-17 / 21-16). But despite the defeat, and having reached the semifinals, Inés ranked third in the tournament, along with the Brazilian Juliana Viana.
“I am very happy to be able to return with a medal to Peru, I feel that I have fulfilled my goal as an athlete and as a Peruvian and that fills me with pride and satisfaction, “said Inés, after the award ceremony in which she received the bronze medal.
