jpnn.com, SINGAPORE – The Indonesian national team will face Singapore in the second leg of the 2020 AFF Cup semifinals at the National Stadium, Saturday (25/12).
The Garuda squad is certain to receive an injection of new energy with the presence of Egy Maulana Vikri.
The player who plays in the Slovak League with FK Senica has landed in Singapore since Tuesday (21/12).
However, due to fitness reasons, Egy was not selected against Singapore in the first leg yesterday, Wednesday (22/12).
Now, Egy’s condition is getting better. The young man from Medan has even started to train with other Garuda employees.
Egy also looks optimistic about welcoming the match against Singapore. It was implied that he was eager to get down to help his other comrades and make Garuda fly high.
“Alhamdulillah, I have started training here with the team and the coach. The current condition is good and there are no problems,” said Egy.
“God willing, we can win the match later,” he added.
