“9,000 licensees, 80 sports clubs”

A Team JO bragarde

And athletes to highlight. The City has thus formed a Team JO 2024, made up of all its champions: Anouchka Martin (swimming), Axel Clerget (judo), Jackson Chanet (boxing), Kader Rahim (handball), Kadour Ziani (dunk), Maurice Chanet (boxing) ), Mélanie Legoux Clément (judo) and Vincent Simon (fencing). “We set up this Team of great sportsmen and women to get other medals and train as many young people as possible”, announced Quentin Brière.

Host a delegation

Because the mayor of Saint-Dizier has set a goal. “With this Team JO, we will do everything possible to find a delegation that will come here in 2024 and that through it, we can live part of the Games. The ceremony was then marked by a succession of awards ceremonies to athletes, supervisors, volunteers and clubs. Between each category, impressive demonstrations were offered to the public, by Sylvain Adry, the performer cube, Jonathan Paul, French freestyle football champion Where Street Smile, a breakdance company, an Olympic sport since the Tokyo Olympics. WHO also presented three athletes that it has supported this year: Julien Schording, who became world paintball champion, Team Bragarde, who participated in the solidarity raid of the stars of Verdon and Elodie Berteloodt, triathlete who is preparing a Ironman.

Le Saint-Dizier Boxe 52 in the spotlight

And while Clothilde Del Ben was crowned “sports revelation of the year” for her victory in her first professional boxing fight, her club, Saint-Dizier Boxe 52, was congratulated for its commitment during the Covid crisis. and the different confinements. Le Rayon sportif Bragard took home the title of “best club of the year”, while the Marathon du Der won the prize for “event of the year”.
