Illusion in the Asturian representation for the return of the Spanish Championships

A total of 77 Asturian judokas (22 in the children’s category, 21 in cadet, 12 in senior and 22 in kata) compete from today in the Spanish Championships held in Madrid, the first to be held since the outbreak of the pandemic. Today and tomorrow morning the competitors of the national school will open fire (in the image, the Asturian representation yesterday, before starting the trip). Tomorrow afternoon is reserved for katas, and Monday will be the absolute Spanish Championship. The president of the territory, José Ramón Díaz Maseda, hopes that it means “the definitive return to judo, and an incentive for our judokas, many of them with real medal options.”
