The Huarpe awards for sports excellence in Mendoza were awarded last night, after 14 years, at the Aconcagua Arena indoor stadium. In the Judo discipline Matías Diaz, Dionel Villar and Keyla Villarruel were triads.

On the night of Mendoza sports, there was recognition of around 47 outstanding athletes from Mendoza according to their disciplines. In addition to tributes to notable athletes of the last decade.

The event organized by the Círculo de Periodistas Deportivos de Mendoza and sponsored by the Undersecretariat of Sports and the Government of Mendoza, had 3 judocas from Malargüinos present.

The athlete Malargüino Matías Diaz, who obtained the title of Argentine Judo Champion, won the award in his discipline at the Huarpe awards.
