However, the sporting focus of the game is on others:

8th minute: The 1-0 for HSV! Midfield boss Kittel with a sugar pass in the run of Alidou, the HSV jewel pushes in the middle on Glatzel, who only has to push the ball centrally over the line.

Glatzel with his first goal in seven games. Is that the break for the striker?

The 2-0 for HSV in the 18th minute: The healthy again Gyamerah in a one-two with a smock, he lays in the middle on Reis and he pushes him in. Hamburg dominant, Hansa particularly vulnerable on the left side.

Glatzel then puts the lid on with his eighth goal of the season: the striker skilfully flicks the ball past Hansa keeper Kolke – 3-0 (80th). Kaufmann’s supposed 4-0 (86th) is withdrawn by the VAR due to offside.

Hamburg is now seven points behind city rivals St. Pauli, and Rostock slips to 14th place.
