Thomas Stolcerman has grown up Speed tribe in front of the spectators and has now done what other Latvian motorists have not been able to do, including the Thomas family. His grandfather Vladislav Schlelmelmil once tried to succeed internationally, and his father Marek Stolzerman tried, but his godfather Harald Schlelmelmh almost got to F1. Thomas is the second world champion in the Stolcerman family – his mother, motorist and bobsledder Nelli Stolcerman won the title of world champion in jet skiing in 2006.
Thomas was the fastest in Bahrain in almost all races, from training to the finals. In a conversation with Paul Timrot, he says that he experienced a shock when the yellow warning flags appeared on the track during the final race and the previously reached speed was lost. Thomas was in the role of Lewis Hamilton at the time, but unlike Hamilton, Thomas managed to stay calm and thrive. He also reveals that before the start he is in the mood to be angry, inspired by the example of his sister, also a karting athlete Alice.
Valdislav Schlelmelmilham, Thomas’ grandfather, had a feeling that everything would be fine, but during the race he was worried about a brazen competitor who persistently followed Thomas. Vladislav believes that 2022 is starred as the year of Thomas and is glad that the fame of the new champion has not disappeared. He himself was so crazy that he built a “333” go-kart track in the name of his son’s career and predicts that his grandson’s talent will take him far.
