Game postponed between Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors due to Covid-19

Game postponements have been piling up in recent days in the NBA. This Thursday night, the meeting between the Denver Nuggets and the Golden State Warriors is adjourned. A postponement that was expected in recent hours, the franchise of Colorado being unable to present eight players able to play the meeting.

In addition to injury absences from Monte Morris, Aaron Gordon, Austin Rivers and Vlatko Cancar (not counting the long-term absences of Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr and PJ Dozier), the Nuggets have several players and staff in quarantine due to of the Covid, including coach Michael Malone. On the players side, Jeff Green and Zeke Nnaji and Bones Hyland are also in isolation.

The postponement is the eleventh staggered encounter in the NBA since the start of the season, the second for Denver after their game last week against Brooklyn. For their part, the Warriors see their first game of the season postponed, while they also present some players in Covid protocol, such as Draymond Green or Damion Lee.
