Gallegos River | The Table Tennis City Cup started

In the facilities of the Provincial Center for High Performance Sports (CePaRD), the City Cup began yesterday in the discipline of Table tennis.

The aforementioned competition will take place throughout the weekend with the participation of more than 200 competitors from Rio gallegos, represented by the Benjamín Verón Municipal Gymnasium and the Ulloa Table Tennis School, and from the towns of Río Turbio and Río Grande (Tierra del Fuego).

Regarding the organization of the event, it is in charge of the Ulloa School with the accompaniment of the General Directorate of Sports of the Municipality of Río Gallegos.

The competition covers players sub 7 to maxi 66 in male and female. These three days of competition include mixed and doubles category matches.

This tournament is part of the table tennis circuit that included two dates of the Municipal Table Tennis League.

The finals and the awards ceremony will take place on Sunday from 12:30 at the CEPARD facilities.
