The Christmas Badminton Tournament 2021 yesterday Saturday in the Antonio Campomaor pavilion with the presence of the students of the Badminton Sports School as reported on its website by the Ceutí Institute of Sports. The athletes have been able to enjoy an afternoon of a great sport and have competed at a good level.
At 4:30 p.m. the initiation group tournament began, with students between 2006 and 2011. The victory finally went to Rubén Castañeda, who won the final against Alejandro Espinosa.
At 6:00 p.m., the family category took place, in which they played doubles matches with mixed pairs between the initiation students and the group of adults. In this way, the little ones have had a great opportunity to be close to the oldest in a great competition. The winning couple was the one made up of Juan M. López and José M. Corvillo. Finally, at 7:00 p.m. the adult category began, whose victory went to Francisco Díaz.
From the Ceutí Sports Institute they want to congratulate “the fantastic work of the Badminton School, a sport that is growing more and more in our City,” says the ICD on its website.
