“Everton has first winter purchase for more than 20 million euros”

Everton have almost certainly received their first winter purchase. The club will strengthen with Vitaliy Mykolenko, left back of Dinamo Kiev.

That reports transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. Mykolenko is a 22-year-old left-back from Ukraine who has played for Dinamo Kiev for five seasons. He played this season against FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Everton has bought Mykolenko for an amount of between 21 and 23 million euros, Romano knows. Mykolenko will be medically examined on Friday and will then sign for (presumably) five years. Everton want to confirm the transfer as soon as possible.

Opposite the arrival of Mykolenko is a possible departure of Lucas Digne. The left back, attracted by Marcel Brands, may leave Everton with a good offer. Digne has been playing at Goodison Park since 2018. He previously played for FC Barcelona.
