DFB: Attention, superstar attracts Youssoufa Moukoko – Bundesliga

Cameroon snatches the DFB and Hansi Flick (56) a super talent from under the nose?

Just in time for Christmas there are explosive rumors about Youssoufa Moukoko (17). As the “Journal du Cameroun” reports, Cameroon’s football association wants to persuade BVB’s storm jewel to go hunting for goals for “the indomitable lions” in the future.

Attention, DFB – Samuel Eto’o (40) is targeting Moukoko!

The former superstar (played for Barcelona, Inter Milan and Chelsea, among others) has been the new president of the Cameroonian association ‘Fecafoot’ since December 11th. For him it should be a kind of special assignment to persuade Moukoko to change his association.

According to the report, Eto’o is even said to have had a meeting with the BVB shooting star on Christmas Eve, which was agreed in the Ministry of Sports.

This fits: Moukoko (at 16 years and 28 days youngest Bundesliga scorer of all time) is currently in Cameroon and posted several pictures on social networks that show him with family members and friends in Douala.

The BVB jewel was born in Yaoundé (Cameroon) but moved to Germany at the age of 10. Moukoko has played in all youth national teams of the DFB and is an integral part of the U21, in September he scored three times in two games in the European Championship qualifiers. In his first game in September in San Marino (6-0), Moukoko became the youngest player and scorer in U21 history.

Cameroon is hosting the upcoming Africa Cup (start on January 9th), but has probably not yet finally reported its squad to the African Football Confederation – possibly in the hope of being able to convince the player in the short term.

Despite all of Eto’o’s efforts, the chances are very slim that Moukoko will not appear for the DFB, but for Cameroon in the future …
