The Capitals have announced the return of the hugely successful second baseman last summer, along with third base teammate Jesse Hodges.

Glaude therefore made sure to join the outfielder Jonathan Lacroix and the gunner Miguel Cienfuegos as representatives of the Belle Province within the roster, in the Frontier League.

Last season, Glaude’s performances earned him the Murray Zuk Award, awarded by the Canadian Baseball Network to the best Canadian offensive player in independent baseball.

The Quebec player posted a .308 batting average with 75 RBIs. His 13 home runs, two triples and 27 doubles testify to his power.

“At the start of the season, I thought this was going to be my last year in professional baseball, but only four days after our last playoff game, I already knew I already wanted to come back and wear the Capitals colors. I can’t wait to be able to join my teammates again in order to bring the championship back to Quebec ”, mentioned Glaude via a team press release.
