The 2022 Universiade will be held in Chengdu (China) from June 26 to July 7. The multisport competition reserved for students enrolled in universities from all over the world was originally scheduled for 2021, but was then further postponed due to the concomitance with the Olympics.
In the Sichuan region will be protagonists well 18 sports, for a total of 268 medal events. This edition follows the one held in Naples in 2019. It promises to be a great show between athletics, swimming, gymnastics, judo, fencing, archery but also team sports such as basketball, water polo and volleyball, without forgetting tennis, badminton, rowing, shooting, taekwondo, diving and the novelty of wushu (a very popular discipline in China).
Italy will try to make a big voice in this appointment: after the good figure made at home in the Campania capital, the blues who combine sport and study will aim to return home with many medals around their necks and with important results to boast of.
