In total, there were 123 competitions that Aguascalientes was able to organize throughout the year, having different disciplines such as handball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, basketball, among many other sports, which not only allowed the return of activities in general, but also They also helped to have an impact on the state economy thanks to the tourism that was generated with these skills.
In addition, there were some traditional events such as the Wine Route, the sports billboard of the Calaveras Cultural Festival and the basketball festivals, which have been a constant. The two sports that once again rose as the main organizers in the state were cycling and badminton. First of all, cycling thanks to having four different modalities, which are BMX, mountain, track and road; Thus, he had the opportunity to use different facilities in the state and organize everything from stages of the national calendar on the route to organizing BMX and mountain cups that practically did not stop throughout the year.
Likewise, Aguascalientes continues to be the home of badminton, with multiple international tournaments that were organized in the sports gym of the Sports Institute, with the best athletes from all over the continent who come happy to a state that has totally opened the doors to this discipline. Now, with 2022 to come, it is intended to overcome those 123 events and have many more, especially with the possible return of the San Marcos Fair, which would also bring back one of the most important sports billboards of the year.
