Classes for the Diploma in Sports Management finished

The last class of the “Diploma in Sports Management” was held, where the Minister of Government and Justice, Carolina Vargas Aignasse; the coordinator of the race and head of the Sports Department of UNDEF, Pablo Pascualini; the Secretary General of UNDEF, Matías Caciabue; the person in charge of sports of the Ministry of Government and Justice, Adriana Nofal; the Head coach of the Argentina team, Gustavo Roldan, and the current Head coach of Cagliari Tennis Club (Italy) former professional tennis player, Martin Vassallo Arguello.

The diploma lasted three months and its dictation was one hundred percent virtual. The curriculum was divided into three intensive modules, and three discussion modules with referents who provided strategies and resources on sports management to all the students who attended. The objective was to train human resources capable of facing challenges and taking advantage of opportunities in the field of sport.

The academic coordinator of the proposal, Pablo Pascualini, celebrated the success of the diploma: “Training cadres in sports management and supporting the development center at height also means, in some way, expressing sovereignty linked to the world, but with own resources for the enhancement of national sport.”

The proposal had a workload of 100 hours and had a panel of first-rate teachers, among them: Horacio Anselmi, Carlos Alberto Marino, Luis Erdociain, Daniel Ridao, Luis Vázquez, Sergio Groupiere, Julia Raimundi, Daniel Poggi (Water polo) , Bárbara Abot (Women’s football) and Laura Martinel (Judo) among others.

In this sense, Maria Fernanda Jerez, a Physical Education teacher graduated from the UNT and a graduate student, told how her experience was in the course: “I am very grateful for the opportunity they gave me to study the Diploma in Sports Management, at the end of the course I took with me fundamental tools to make my management more efficient and effective.. I want to highlight the academic organization, the monitoring and accompaniment of both the UNDEF and the Ministry of Government and Justice, through Adriana Nofal. It denoted the seriousness and the level of training ”.

On the other hand, Jerez, who is also the director of Sports and Recreation of Bella Vista and currently a student of the Bachelor of Physical Education at UCSE, highlighted the work of the teachers who were in charge of the project: “A separate paragraph for teachers; people who during my training as a teacher were references and having many of them within reach, to dialogue, consult and exchange ideas is wonderful. Finally, I want to say that these types of actions are firm steps towards the development of sport in our province ”.

Finally, he made reference to the importance of the project of the Center for Development and Training in Height in Tafi del Valle: “It is a very necessary project that will give athletes from all over the country the opportunity to improve their performance. Put them on an equal footing with athletes from other countries. I think that coordinating sports development programs, which include grassroots, federative and high-performance sports, will enable a greater number of children and young people to access sport and with this center they will have the opportunity to develop in their sports without suffering the uprooting of leaving their homes and families, “he concluded.
