The last seven matches in the 2021/2022 Champions League group stage have been played last night. Here are the full results!
The sixth matchday of the Champions League group phase, Thursday (9/12/2021) early morning WIB, starts from Group H. There is a duel between Juventus vs Malmo FF and Zenit St. Petersburg vs Chelsea.
Juventus successfully beat Malmo FF 1-0, while Chelsea were held to a draw at Zenit 3-3. The result led the Bianconeri to win Group H with 15 points, while the Blues were runners-up with 13 points.
Shifted to Group G, Red Bull Salzburg managed to overcome their guest, Sevilla, with a score of 1-0. In other matches, Lille was able to achieve perfect points at home to Wolfsburg with a 3-1 victory.
The additional three points confirmed Lille’s status as the winner of Group G. Meanwhile, Red Bull Salzburg qualified for the next phase as group runners-up.
Drama occurred in the match in Group E between Bayern Munich vs Barcelona. Die Roten managed to beat the Blaugrana three goals without reply.
The defeat took Barcelona out of the Champions League, because in the other match Benfica was able to beat Dynamo Kyiv and qualify for the group stage with Bayern. Xavi Hernandez’s squad now has to go down to the ‘Friday Night League’ aka the Europa League.

Moving on to Group F, Manchester United were held to a draw by their guests, Young Boys, 1-1. The draw was enough to bring the Red Devils to qualify as group winners with 11 points.
MU’s point acquisition can no longer be pursued by its closest rival, Villarreal, who has only collected 7 points. The Yellow Submarine itself has not played its sixth matchday against Atalanta because the duel was postponed due to a snowstorm.
