Castrillón, Arias, Osorio and Cabrera are close to Junior

Junior is determined to start his 2022 preseason with all the defined payroll. That is why he has been working at full speed in the achievement of new faces.

After formally confirming Daniel Giraldo and Fernando Uribe, who arrived from Millionaires, And in the midst of all the bombast generated by the official return of Miguel Ángel Borja, after buying him from Palmeiras of Brazil for approximately 3 and a half million dollars, the ‘Sharks’ continue with their efforts to incorporate players and are close to closing four names: right back Nilson Castrillón (Deportes Tolima), central defender Jorge Arias (Deportivo Cali) and offensive midfielders Kelvin Osorio (Santa Fe) and Yesus Cabrera (Cuiabá from Brazil).

Castrillón, a 1.83-tall, 77-kilogram, 25-year-old from Cauca, has already verbally agreed to get to the rojiblanco team. He only needs to present medical tests, like his partner in the posh outfit Omar Albornoz, a Cartagena winger who also has a verbal agreement.

The two must report to Barranquilla on January 3 to comply with the medical tests and finalize their contracts.

Arias, who already had two auspicious cycles with Junior, would return for the third time to the shark house. The dialogues are quite advanced with the 29-year-old left-hander from Cesarean who has just been crowned champion with the Deportivo Cali, Although he had not been a starter because he came from a long injury and when he recovered, Hernán Menosse and Jorge Marsiglia were already positioned in the starter.

Osorio, a striking midfielder born in Florence, Caquetá, 28 years ago, would come to Junior as part of the negotiation that would mark the return of Argentine Fabián Sambueza to Santa Fe. This is something that is being negotiated and refined. It is not confirmed yet.

Cabrera, a 31-year-old from Cartagena, has just played 10 games with Brazil’s Cuiabá (four starts). He did not score goals. Your representative’s conversations with Junior are well advanced and there may be an agreement during the course of this Sunday.
