he Sunday the Copa Banc Challenger women’s basketball tournament ended in Porvenir, played in the multipurpose room last weekend, with the participation of the Logística Yese and Pistoleros clubs from Punta Arenas, Club Foul & Vale from Puerto Natales and 18 de September and Club Banc of the Fuegian capital, the latter as the organizing team.
The grand final took place between the Foul & Vale de Natales quintets and their similar Pistoleros de Punta Arenas, where the Natalinas defeated the team from Puntarenas 58 to 53, being champions in the first edition of the event.
The final positions of the tournament were: 1.- Foul & Vale, 2.- Gunmen, 3.- Yese Logistics, 4.- Banc Club and 5.- September 18 Club.
The players Gabriela González from Pistoleros (best player), Daniela Troncoso de Banc (scorer), Krisna Andrade from Foul & Vale (best player in the final) and Gisela Galván from Logística Yesse (most correct player) were awarded.
We thanked the Municipality of Porvenir and its Sports Corporation and companies Nova Austral, Cerveza Selknam, Gasco, Nossa Jeans, Transport de Turismo Cordón Baquedano and DT2 Store, which allowed the happy result of the activity.
