Livorno – Next Thursday, December 23, at the Pala Cosmelli in Livorno, at 8.45 pm, the Bettinetti Memorial will be staged, the boxing meeting organized by Lenny Bottai’s Spes Fortitude and dedicated to Fabio Bettinetti, known as Fabino, historic Livorno fan, former member of the Fedayn group, who passed away last year after a long illness.
On the Facebook group of the sports club Spes Fortitude we read that the event “is not only intended to make children, amateurs and professionals fight, therefore a meeting of absolute importance, but also to remember a friend, a brother who shared all the path of the Spes since its inception “. Bettinetti, therefore, will be remembered with a boxing meeting by his club and by his friends from the ring and from the stands of the Ardenza stadium.
On the square, in addition to Jonathan Sannino returning after months of inactivity, Federico Gassani will descend, at the top after the recent victory over Maurizio Lovaglio, and the Genoese Rocco Vassallo, who has been working for Spes for a few months, making his debut in Livorno.
In the ring, however, some amateur boxers will also go down in the surrounding matches in order to highlight the liveliness and richness of the Livorno boxing school. Spes will donate part of the proceeds to cancer research in memory of Bettinetti. An aspect of social solidarity that makes the evening even more interesting and not to be missed.
