It is now certain that the game of the Göttingen in the festival city of Bayreuth has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 5th, at 7 p.m. in the Upper Franconian Hall.

After the two away games in Würzburg (December 27th) and Ulm (December 30th) as well as the home game against Basketball Löwen Braunschweig on Sunday, January 2nd, shortly afterwards, the team of head coach Roel Moors will be on the way again To the south. It has not yet been clarified how the procedure for the spectators at the two December home games of BG Göttingen against Syntainics MBC and Hakro Merlins Crailsheim will be. Managing director Frank Meinertshagen confirmed that the club had worked out a new concept that was very similar to what had already been submitted before the start of the season against Bamberg. At the beginning of this week there was also a response from the health department. “It worked so far, but changes in the Corona state ordinance are to be expected again – and we will wait for them,” says Meinertshagen, who hopes to be able to play with a reduced number of spectators in the Sparkassen-Arena.
