Basketball Bundesliga club BG Göttingen has to reduce its audience capacity, but may play its next home game on Saturday, December 12th, against Syntainics MBC in front of at least 1000 spectators. This capacity could possibly be increased, announced the violets on Friday morning.
In addition, the 2G-plus rule applies with immediate effect to the BG games in the Sparkassen-Arena. There is only admission for vaccinated and convalescent people who also need a negative corona test (certified rapid antigen test, not older than 24 hours, or negative PCR test, not older than 48 hours). For organizational reasons, there will be no test station at the Sparkassen-Arena.
After the Corona consultations in Berlin, the basketball Bundesliga team in southern Lower Saxony is adjusting its hygiene and safety concept. Season ticket holders have to book new seats for the game on December 11th against Weißenfels, as they did for the first home game against Bamberg, due to the distances to be observed, which is possible from Friday at 2 p.m. The BG also points out that spectators who have already bought single tickets for the duel against the MBC will have to rebook their seats.

The tickets remain valid, but according to the BG, they can be “re-personalized” by email to [email protected]. Season tickets could be passed on. Single ticket sales will resume on Tuesday, December 7th, at 10 a.m. “From this point on, the possibility of booking seats for season ticket holders will be reduced,” said the violets.
This is how season ticket and single ticket holders book their new seats: Fans who have booked a season ticket for the 2021/22 season or who have already bought a single ticket for the game against Weißenfels need a new ticket for the home game against MBC, as the original seats may not be available due to the distance regulation. According to the BG, fans can choose a place in two possible categories in the special online shop (link to bggoettingen.de). Then enter your four-digit ticket code (to be found on the back of the season ticket or on the order confirmation for the season ticket or on the single ticket in the middle under the QR code) as a promotion code so that the ticket is then in the shopping cart.
If several places are required, the process is repeated. Then the customer data must be entered and the individual tickets personalized. The tickets could then either be printed out or loaded onto the cell phone as a mobile ticket. Since all season ticket holders have the option of booking a seat for the game, the price for the game (1/17 of the season ticket price) will always be calculated retrospectively – even if season ticket holders do not sign up for a new one Book a place. The BG office will open on Monday, December 6th, from 12 noon to 5 p.m., so that booking is also possible there, the Veilchen announced.
The regular single tickets are available from December 7th in the Tageblatt branches in Göttingen, Wiesenstraße 1, or Duderstadt, Marktstraße 9, also in the online ticket shop (link at bggoettingen.de) or on the ticket hotline at 0800/6050400.
