Due to the corona pandemic, the Association Day of the Lower Saxony Judo Association took place on November 21 for the first time in the association’s history digitally via Zoom.
Only the presidium had set up for the broadcast in the Toto Lotto hall of the Academy of Sports in Hanover. All delegates / association representatives were connected online. The first broadcast of the Association Day lasted six hours using the “Zoom” medium and the voteUp voting tool.
In the elections, there was also an election for the finance committee, as Annika Hurnaus did not stand for election again. Bernd-Axel Schimmel, head of the judo division of SC Hemmingen-Westerfeld, stood for the election and was mostly elected to this honorary position. In the past, Bernd-Axel Schimmel has already volunteered for the NJV and was elected as one of three members of the board of trustees at the extraordinary association day in September 2007 and was later appointed their spokesman.
