Bad start BC Drop Shot in championship group

We can be very brief about the Eredivisie match in the championship group of BC Drop Shot against BV Almere: 8-0 for Almere.

A match that should not have been played on December 12 from BC Drop Shot’s point of view. No fewer than 5 Drop Shot toppers will participate in the World Badminton Championship in Spain (starting December 12!), if you also add an injury to Dicky Palyama and a not completely fit Wessel van der Aar, then a normally difficult match against Almere is already a hopeless mission in advance.

Request
In the previous weeks, BC Drop Shot has made an urgent request to the association to move the match on the basis of the participation in the World Cup of 5 players. Unfortunately, this request was not honored, so a strongly weakened Drop Shot had to play against Almere. You could even see it as a form of competition distortion.

Honestly
Where you expect that the aim will be a fair course of the competition with as many top players as possible against each other in the arena, there is apparently little flexibility to be expected from BNL.

Too bad for BC Drop Shot, happiness at Almere and perhaps also at the other competitors from the championship group, but no promotion of Badminton Topsport in the Netherlands.
