World No. 1 Ashleigh Barty has revealed that she and partner Garry Kissick designed the engagement ring together. Two-time Grand Slam champion Barty got engaged to longtime boyfriend Kissick last November.
The two lovers kept the news a secret for about a week before making it public on social networks. “Garry and I have been together for a long time now and I designed the ring with him.
We’re obviously excited now for the next chapter. We were at home on the couch with the puppies. It was really just the two of us. And it was perfect for us.
Everyone has their own unique way of doing things. It suited us perfectly. It’s just me, and who I am and who we are together, ”Barty told The Herald Sun, as revealed by Sportskeeda.
Barty is happy to live near her family
“I have lived in the Springfield area all my life, and mom and dad have lived there all their lives as well. My sisters are not far away.
We are delighted to be in our new home. It’s nice. This is what we wanted, and now it’s about making new memories. The puppies love our new place and for me it is most important to see them run and have a good time, ”said Barty.
Meanwhile, Barty was praised by former tennis player Jill Craybas. Indeed, the Australian champion finished the year in first place for the third year in a row, and Craybas believes the Australian represents the sport in a great way.
