Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —

Primary Arhan have moments of embarrassing players Champions League, Dion Cools, in a duel Indonesia vs Malaysia in Group B of the 2021 AFF Cup (2020) at the National Stadium, Sunday (19/12).

The incident of Arhan outwitting Dions Cools occurred ahead of Indonesia’s third goal scored by Irfan Jaya in the 43rd minute.

Arhan started Irfan’s goal by accelerating from the left side of the Indonesian attack or the right side of the Malayan Tiger defense.

The PSIS Semarang defender first outwitted two Malaysian players, Muhammad Safawi and Mohd Rizal. Arhan then moved inside to face Dion Cools in the Malaysian penalty box.

Despite the one-on-one duel with Cools who had already felt the atmosphere of the Champions League with Danish League club FC Midtjylland, Arhan was not afraid.

The ball that was dribbled by Arhan could be blocked by Cools. However, Cools’s challenge did not work, because the ball could still be controlled by Arhan who then gave a mature pass to the far post and Irfan Jaya struck for a goal.

Cools itself just arrived in Singapore in the middle of this week. The arrival of the 25-year-old defender was specifically to play against Indonesia.

However, the presence of Dion Cools could not help Malaysia reach the 2021 AFF Cup semifinals. Instead of winning the match, Malaysia was beaten by the Garuda Squad 4-1.
