It is clear that mainly thanks to the naturalized Russian Anastasia Kuzminová, who won three Olympic gold medals for Slovakia, biathlon fans under the Tatras used to be very successful. But it is now a long way to go.
“I am aware that my results in Östersund have been terrible. It bothers me a lot because I had a really good feeling from the training. And you know what? My conscience is clear in what I gave the preparation. I couldn’t do more than my best. And if I don’t have it anymore? So I probably won’t do anything about it anymore. But I won’t stop trying as long as I can, “she promised.
