Ansa II – Martirena and Urriza – Labaka, finalists

Urriza-Labaka and Ansa II-Martirena will play on Thursday night in Galarreta the final of the Couples Ski Lift Championship thanks to their victories in the semifinals this Friday at the Hernaniarra long fronton. The forward from Pamplona and the defender from Azpeitia beat Goikoetxea V and Barrenetxea IV 36-40 in a balanced and uncertain duel, while the one from Urnieta and the pastor from Lekunberri beat Juanenea and Aizpuru III 40-25.

Spare parts of a 6-0 against, Urriza and Labaka have come back to gain an advantage. Victory seemed within their reach at 19-27, but Endika Barrenetxea has refined the serve – nine goals from two fouls – and has restored balance to the game and to the scoreboard. They have entered the last ten at par, in which, well accompanied by Labaka –seven on service–, Urriza has emerged again, immeasurable in defense and effective in attack. He only covers ten frames.

An excellent second half of the semifinal has given the passport to Ansa II and Martirena. Lagging 18-22, a hit of twelve goals has brought them to 30-22 and has left Juanenea and Aizpuru III without response capacity.

Imanol Ansa has imposed a high pace, with determination in his actions and spark from start to finish. The gastroenteritis that complicated the end of the league is forgotten. Ibai Martirena, author of nine service goals, has been in his place against a couple who have paid for their irregularity with defeat.
