All-Star Game returns to the LBPN with a new format

For Sunday, December 19 at the National Stadium, the LBPN has resumed the stars game between nationals and foreigners, as well as the Home Run Derby; with the novelty that the fanatic is involved in the selection of the participants.

The Professional League announced important details for the activities that the National Stadium will host that day.

The fan will decide the starters and substitutes; as well as the starting pitcher of both the national and foreign teams; for this the Professional League has enabled a link where the voter will find up to five opportunities for infielders and up to eight for outfielders.

Likewise, the followers of the Professional League will be able to vote for the pitcher that they consider should open both for the national team and for foreigners.

The managers each team will be chosen by the league on December 12 and the national and foreign foreman who is highest in the leaderboard will be named.

The relievers are the only ones going to the all-star game chosen by the managers; therefore the roster must be between 25 and 30 players including at least one player for each of the five franchises.

The voting will end this Wednesday, December 15 at an hour to be defined.

Home Run derby will be part of the LBPN all-star game

The surprises continued by the LBPN and they also announced a Home Run Derby prior to the play ball of the all-star game.

Each team will send two players to look for home runs in the colossus of Managua (a national and a foreigner) and these 10 sluggers will be distributed in five keys.

The bambinos will have two minutes and 30 seconds to send the largest number of balls to the fairway. The winners advance to a round of all against all and the first two go to the final.
