Half of Real Madrid are in corona quarantine. So does David Alaba. Thanks to Karim Benzema, the club continues to win and laughs from the top.
These are eventful days in Madrid for David Alaba. In the Spanish capital, the summer newcomer has long been one of the regular players and top performers. In the current Corona emergency of the club, the Viennese also got hit – again!
As in July, Alaba is Corona-positive. The 29-year-old is in quarantine like eight of his colleagues.

Star coach Carlo Ancelotti therefore has to fall back on a rump team on Wednesday evening. His luck: Karim Benzema has so far been spared the corona outbreak of the “royal family” and once again turns out to be the club’s offensive life insurance.

Because Benzema now has 15 goals this season. Real is still number 1 in Spain thanks to the win. The lead over pursuers Seville is eight points more in one game.
