‘Ajax officially reports to Tottenham Hotspur for Bergwijn’

Ajax has reported to Tottenham Hotspur for Steven Bergwijn. The club wants to bring the attacker to Amsterdam in January. It is not clear whether it concerns renting or buying.

This is reported by De Telegraaf and Voetbal International. Ajax had already reported to Bergwijn’s management, but is following the official path and has also informed Tottenham of the interest.

If Bergwijn comes to Ajax, David Neres may leave. The Brazilian has been looking for a new adventure for some time, but the arrival of Bergwijn would make that easier. Neres is sitting on the bench in Amsterdam, just like Nicolas Tagliafico. The Argentinian is also allowed to leave if Ajax can get a replacement.

Brobbey
In addition to Bergwijn, Ajax is also working with Brian Brobbey, striker of RB Leipzig. Camp Brobbey is aware of the interest. The now fired Jesse Marsch only gave Brobbey a supporting role and the striker is not happy with that.

Leipzig wants to appoint a new trainer as soon as possible (Erik ten Hag is in the picture) and he obviously also has something to say about the only nineteen-year-old attacker. Brobbey wants nothing more than to return to Amsterdam. He was substituted for Bayer Leverkusen after 43 minutes and was furious.
