Nuevo Casas Grandes.- With effort and dedication, four young people from the Superior Technological Institute of Nuevo Casas Grandes (ITSNCG) were part of the representative team of the State of Chihuahua in the 2021 National Elite Tournament, in the men’s under-19 category that was crowned champion .
The event was attended by more than 80 teams from various entities in the country and the venue was at the VComplex sports complex and the “José de las Fuentes” gym in Saltillo, Coahuila.
The Chihuahua Delegation of which the ITSNCG students were part faced in the final the representative of the Center for University Studies (CEU) of Monterrey, where the Chihuahuan team won.
The four young people from Nuevo Casas Grandes are members of the men’s team “Búfalos” from this educational institution and were selected for their excellent performance after their confrontation in the regional stage where they obtained a second place, which made them deserving of a space to represent to Chihuahua in the national meeting.
The winning students are: Caison Lebaron and Dante Bencomo, both students of Engineering in Business Management; Cristián Soto from the Public Accountant career and Eduardo Bojórquez from Electromechanical Engineering.
Coach Carlos Vázquez Estala, head of the Technological Extracurricular Department, thanked the young people for their effort, performance and dedication to this project.
In addition, the general director of the ITSNCG, Jorge Luis Santiesteban, was recognized for his constant support of sport and the participation of students in this type of sporting event.
