BOLASPORT.COM – Malaysia’s flagship mixed doubles pair, Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying, have officially parted ways at the end of this year.

Shocking news came from Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying.

Reported from TheStar On Monday (6/12/2021), Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying ended their 13-year partnership.

Through his social media accounts, Chan Peng Soon stated that the 2021 BWF World Tour Finals would be his last tournament to play with Goh Liu Ying.

“Last week’s Word Tour Finals was my last match with Liu Ying,” Chan Peng Soon wrote on Instagram.

It has been thirteen years working hand in hand on the field with Goh Liu Ying, Chan Peng Soon admitted that it was difficult to make this decision.

“I feel heavy, it was not an easy decision, after all we have been playing for 13 years,” Chan wrote.

“We failed together, we succeeded together, we grew together,” the 33-year-old added.
