What to do with your children for the All Saints’ Day holidays in Lens and Liévin?

The first week of vacation has already passed and if you have exhausted your stock activities to do with your children, we suggest others on Lens and Liévin, in the Pas-de-Calais !

Shows for the little ones

For children under 6 years old, the festival Tiot Loupiot is organized at Liévin Rainbow Center. The aim is to transmit the pleasure of the book through shows, workshops and exhibitions. Sessions are scheduled from Tuesday 2 to Saturday 6 November 2021.

This Sunday, October 31, Kastelet theater presents his puppet show La Maison de sucre where Little Jean goes to the confectionery and meets an ogre. Admission is chargeable and the health pass is compulsory.

Workshops for over 6s

For slightly older children, workshops are offered. For example, the La Rustine Company is planting a forest of paper in the Méricourt media library : a work of illustration and cut paper. Scissors, brushes, wood and paper glue, children will have to let their creativity speak. The activity is free on reservation.

Workshops are also scheduled at Louvre-Lens museum from November 3 to 6. A theme defined for the whole week is broken down into several different workshop-visits, around the works of the Louvre exhibition by Pablo Picasso or the Galerie du temps. This is for children aged 4 to 12.

Meet the animals of the Cytises park

A Bénifontaine, the Cytises park is open every day from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. You can discover lots of animals, around 85 different species, and let your children play a multitude of games.

the Marcel Cabiddu Park of Wingles is also very popular with visitors because there are many activities to do: mini-golf, fishing, archery, playground, city stadium… In short, there is something for everyone. The park is freely accessible all year round.
