The cocktail took place in the Hotel Hacienda Montija, headquarters of the organization. In one of the rooms of this imposing space there was a meeting to remember, since it brought together all the members of the national team. It was a very emotional meeting that was attended by institutional representatives such as the mayor of Huelva, Gabriel Cruz, the president of the Spanish Federation Andoni Azurmendi, and the president of the Andalusian Badminton Federation, Carlos Longo.
Both Azurmendi and the rest of the representatives dedicated heartfelt words to the athletes, a fundamental part of the Spanish badminton family, since “many of you have paved the way but you are also still linked to our sport, working with clubs or territorial federations, being coaches or even fathers and mothers of players, “said Azurmendi.
Spanish athletes come into action from this Sunday and trust to sign a good role in the World Championship Huelva 2021, but there is no doubt that they have been able to feel the affection of the entire organization before taking to the track to represent Spain before the whole world.
