Two great competitions for six club players. Big weekend indeed on November 13 and 14 for the Badminton club ubayen (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence) ! The results speak for themselves: traveling to Ollioules, in the ladies’ double on Saturday, Alice and Noémie do not come out of a Top 5 pool, while Sophie and Fanny (from the Antibes club) finish 4th in the single pool of 6 of the Top 4. In the mixed doubles on Sunday: Sophie and Sylvain (from the Antibes club) finished in the 1/4 final Top 3 and Noémie and Samuel (from the Cagnes sur Mer club) finished 1st in the Top 6.
On the road to Briançon on Sunday: in the ladies’ double, Marina and Céline finished 2nd in the Top 1; in mixed doubles: Céline and Nathan finished 2nd in the Top 2 and Marina and Adrien (from the Briançon club) finished 1st in the Top 1. To sum up, a nice 4th place, two super 2nd place and two magnificent 1st place for a weekend successful for the BCU and a big thumbs up to all!
The next meeting is set at La Bâtie Neuve in December for adults, but also in Gap at the end of November for the first youth tournaments.
