Doğukan Şanlı, who was transferred to the TED Ankara Kolejliler A Men’s Basketball team playing in the Turkish Basketball League in the 2021-2022 season, transferred to PETKİM, which has lost its staff due to injuries. This season, Şanlı averaged 8.8 points, 2.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 21 minutes, playing for PETKİM two seasons ago. The player, who played 135 games for North Carolina in the NCAA between 2012-2016, played in the Mexican League Rayos de Hermosillo in the 2018-2019 season, in the Mexican League Capitanes team in the 2019-2020 season, and finally in Düzce Municipality in the 2020-21 season.
