The match passed with Deportes Quindío and beyond the points that were won, Deportivo Cali lost Hernán Menosse and Teo Gutiérrez, a couple of its starting footballers due to the referee’s sanctions.
The Uruguayan defender was sent off at minute 16 for a blow to Olmes García that was detected through the VAR. Referee Luis Matorel reviewed the action on the screen and from there the red card decision for him. Teo Gutiérrez gave a header to Yani Quintero and although the action was also reviewed, he was only cautioned. Even so, he was suspended due to the accumulation of yellow cards.
Dimayor has already ruled in this regard through Resolution No. 051. The Disciplinary Committee imposed the following sanctions for Deportivo Cali footballers:
-Hernán Menosse, guilty of violent conduct (Art. 63-DC Unique Disciplinary Code of the FCF). 2 suspension dates and a fine of $ 393,694. You will not be able to play in the All Against All again. He would return in home runs, if the team achieves qualification.
-Teo Gutierrez. A suspension date for accumulation of yellow cards. He does not play in the visit to Jaguares de Córdoba. It could be on date 20 when Deportivo Cali plays at home against Once Caldas.
