They launched the 2021 Community Games

The governor of Chubut, Mariano Arcioni, led this Tuesday the launching ceremony of the Communal Games 2021, which will be held during this month of November in different rural communes, villages, places and municipalities, concentrating 1,500 boys, girls and young people from the interior of the province, which will require an investment from the State for more than 6 million pesos.

In addition, the provincial leader made the delivery 43 kits with sports elements – soccer balls, fustal, volleyball and handaball; coordination stairs; tortoise cones and plastics- to rural communes and municipalities.

In this sense, the Governor said that “it is very important to resume these communal games because it means that 1,500 boys and girls between 8 and 14 years old are going to be practicing sports, and we have always had it as a State policy, even with the problems economic and financial that we had to go through was always a priority ”.

It also stated that “Soon we are calling for bids to buy 4 more buses for Chubut Deportes.”

Venues

The Sports Manager of Chubut Deportes SEM, Marcelo Richotti, explained that “it is divided into 6 venues. The first two in Trevelin and Gastre where we will have between 150 and 160 boys competing on November 10 and 11. We will be in Mayo River and 28 of July the 17 and 18 and finally Jose de San Martin and Gualjaina on the 24th and 25th. We are committed to making it the best way for our boys to be able to participate in these sports ”, he said.

Games

These Games will reach more than 1,500 children and young people between 8 and 14 years of age in the interior of the province with the aim of stimulating the practice of sport, providing a context of organized competition in the population sectors of our province that, due to their geographic and demographic situation, they do not have a sustained calendar of sports competitions.

They will be held in two days of competition and will participate in table tennis, athletics, indoor soccer, cycling, rollerblading, and training will be held in archery and target shooting.
