The BCB signs an agreement with the Badajoz school, which was a benchmark in the 70s and has the honor of having the first covered pavilion in the city
Badajoz basketball returns to its first court. The BCB returns its essence to the Colegio Juventud. The old Trade Union School was a history of Spanish basketball in the 70s and also boasts the privilege of having the first covered sports hall in the capital of Badajoz.
Both entities have signed a collaboration agreement through which the BCB will be in charge of teaching basketball as an extracurricular activity at the center. In this way, the Youth Pavilion will dust off its old baskets to re-fill with balls and kids practicing basketball after almost a decade of absence.
This agreement will serve to recover basketball in the Youth School and a bet for the future for the Badajoz club, schools that it already coordinates in other schools and that are giving a great performance in the initiation categories.
Now the heir to that story, the City of Badajoz Basketball Club (BCB), has reached a collaboration agreement with the Youth School, located between the bullring and the Legion Park of Badajoz, to recover the extracurricular activity in the center.
The basketball modality will take place two days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., for students of the school between 3rd and 6th of Primary aged between 8 and 12 years.
This Thursday, November 4, the activity will start at the Youth School. To make its start-up possible, the BCB is already making improvements to the pavilion, both in paving and signage, as well as in protecting the facilities for the participants.
