The Transler, with a good attitude in Zamora

Transler has shown great attitude in their league commitment in Zamora, although they have suffered (89-52) their third consecutive defeat.

The Seguros Bilbao-Taller Central Diesel has made good the forecasts and defeated the Transler Soria on the fifth matchday of the Men’s First Division.

Zamora’s team won this Saturday 89-52 against un Club Soria Basketball who showed a great attitude throughout the match and in which he shone, at the scorer level, Martin de la Rosa, author of 15 points.

The most striking thing is that 11 of those 15 points were converted by De La Rosa in the first quarter, the conclusion of which was reached with a partial victory for Seguros Bilbao-Taller Central Diesel by 26-12.

The other point of the Transler carried the signature of Carlos Romano.

The captain and the top scorer of Club Soria Baloncesto were accompanied in the starting five by Sergio Redondo, Eneko Cueto and Alejandro Hernández. The casualties again made a dent in Transler, who traveled to Zamora with only nine players.

Gonzalo de Domingo – physically weakened -, Javier Zulaica, Sergio García and junior Luis Hernández also took to the field. The latter only played one minute, during which time he was able to score a 2-point basket and a free throw.

The Bilbao-Taller Central Diesel Insurance is a recently released from the EBA League and his clear objective for this campaign is to recover the category on the fast track.

It has a very physical squad and is superior in centimeters to a Soria Basketball Club which, due to the changes in the calendar, has been forced to measure up in the last three days to the three teams that last season played in the immediately superior category (the two others are the Sur-Aspasia Real Valladolid Basketball Clinic and the Inmapa Filipenses de Palencia Group).

When it came to rest, the Seguros Bilbao-Taller Central Diesel doubled in score (46-21) a Transler that, despite everything, did not throw in the towel. It was a very tough duel, but in the third quarter, the squad led by Fernando Flores allowed themselves the luxury of partially surpassing their rival. The Soria Basketball Club scored 14 points (four from Gonzalo de Domingo and another four from Javier Zulaica), for the 10 in which the Zamorano team remained anchored.

The Transler surpassed its rival in the effectiveness shown by his players from the free throw line: 54% (7 of 13), by the poor 33% of his opponent. Five were the triples scored by Club Soria Baloncesto (three by Gonzalo de Domingo, one by Carlos Romano and another by Martín de la Rosa) and Seguros Bilbao-Taller Central Diesel only converted one more.
