From November 12 to 14, in Perpignan, the French senior individual and team first division championships were held, the unmissable meeting place for the best French judokas for three days.
The Tokyo Olympic medalists were also present to defend the colors of their clubs, especially during the team championship on Sunday: Teddy Riner, Romane Dicko or Amandine Buchard, for PSG judo; Margot Pinot and Madeleine Malonga, for ES Le Blanc-Mesnil, but also Shirine Boukli and Killian Le Blouch, for Flam 91. The world’s best on the Perpignan tatami mats.
On this occasion, France Judo had selected the best referees to officiate during these three days of competition. Exceptionally, the participation of two referees from the same club at this level of competition: Hervé Fillon, European referee and founder of TRT judo in 2006, and Mickaël Delon, national first division referee and teacher at the club for twelve years. They had a superb course being selected each evening for the final block, proof of the quality of their services throughout the weekend. Congratulations.
A modest delegation of TRT judo also attended, from the stands, these days of the championship with high level fights. They were able to work closely with the champions of yesterday and today but also the new mascot of French judo: Kodomo.
