The Cowboys’ injury report before the game against the

The Dallas Cowboys will have a tough commitment in Week 9 against the Denver Broncos. If they test positive, the lone star team could go 7-1 and stay on top of the NFC East. However, the team must show on the field that it is much better than its rival, despite the injuries of some elements of interest in the franchise.

On the one hand, we have left offensive tackle Tyron Smith. Who in itself came out with a sore left ankle during the game against Minnesota. During this week, the injury worsened, for which he will not be playing this Sunday. Instead, Terence Steele will do it, since La’el Collins will be returning to the offensive line on the right.

The other player left out for the Broncos game is tight end Blake Jarwin with a sore hip. His place will be taken by Dalton Schultz and some other players of the position such as Jeremy Sprinkle or Sean McKeon. In the case of the latter, he has already participated fully in this week’s practices.

On the other hand, we have the situation of receivers CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper. Regarding the first one, he has ankle discomfort while the second one in the tendons. During the week, they were working on a limited basis. However, both are expected to play the weekend despite their slight discomfort.

In another vein, those who do have the green light to go out without problems are quarterback Dak Prescott and cornerback Trevon Diggs. In fact, on the same Thursday after practice it would be Prescott himself who said that it was almost certain that he would come out to play. It’s been more than two weeks since his right calf discomfort after the last play in Week 6. The one that would give them victory over the New England Patriots with a 35-yard touchdown pass in overtime to CeeDee Lamb. During week 8, backup quarterback Cooper Rush came out against the Vikings. However, this is not seen to be the case for this week as Prescott did complete work between Thursday and Friday.

As for the defensive back, he came out with ankle discomfort near the end of the game against the Vikings. Either way, it worked flawlessly for the week so it’s ready to go.

Already passing to the rival team, there is a specific player who will not see action against the Cowboys. This is left tackle Garett Bolles, a fundamental piece in the offensive line of the Denver team. The OT has a sore ankle so he won’t be back until week 10. In his place will be Calvin Anderson, an unselected player from the 2019 Draft.

But the nightmare is not over for the offensive line. Right guard Graham Glasgow was also participating on a limited basis between Thursday and Friday with hip discomfort.

Along with Glasgow, the Broncos have four more players who are doubts against the lone star team. These are safety Caden Sterns (shoulder), tight end Albert Okwuegbunam (knee), nose tackle Mike Purcell (thumb) and linebacker Malik Reed (hip). Of this list, Reed is the most in danger of not showing up at AT&T Stadium, since he did not practice with his team on Friday.

Although the cowboy roster will suffer some significant casualties, it should be noted that at least the offensive group is not going to have to deal with linebacker Von Miller. Who ended up with the Rams earlier in the week through a trade. Also, there is enough depth in the positions to cover the losses of Smith and Jarwin for this encounter. It is hoped that Dallas can have a positive result at their stadium and continue on their way to the postseason.
