stop of at least two months for De’Andre Hunter

After six consecutive heavy losses, Atlanta returns to success and does so with a good home performance, beating Milwaukee.

Unfortunately for coach Mc Millan there is bad news on the injury front, especially for the one involving De’Andre Hunter. The small forward was injured in the Hawks’ defeat against Golden State Warriors on his right wrist and will have to stay out for eight weeks, thus ending his calendar year.

There is no peace for the cestita from Atlanta who already suffered a knee injury last season by missing 49 games, then breaking his side meniscus in the playoffs and staying out of the ride until the conference finals.

An MRI performed yesterday at the Emory Sports Medicine Complex revealed a tendon injury that will require surgery. Dr. Steven Shin will perform Hunter’s surgery tomorrow in Los Angeles. He should be back in about eight weeks.
