The National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Club of Philadelphia 76ers, Ben Simons, has admitted to his agent Rich Paul that recent Philadelphia activities have led him to believe the team is in a hurry to get back on the field.

Some time ago, the “76ers” resumed punishing Simons for missing matches. The Australian was fined 360 thousand dollars. The club plans to continue to do so until Simons begins to work with the team’s psychologists and perform other basketball-related responsibilities.

“I really believe fines, purposefulness and negative publications are very unnecessary and have contributed to Ben’s mental health problems,” Shams Sharan, a spokesman for Klutch Sports, told The Athletic. “Either help Simon or come and say he’s lying.”

Meanwhile, a spokesman for the 76ers’ team, The Athletic, has revealed that they are certainly not forcing Simon to return to the field or admitting that he is lying. The club’s position is that he must participate in all team activities until he has received information from a mental health professional or the basketball player himself that would prevent him from playing basketball. The Philadelphia Club acknowledges that it has given its full support to Simon’s efforts and worked to provide him with all possible resources. In the current situation, until the doctor’s opinion that he cannot play, the 76ers expect the Australian to return to the training process.

“In this case, we need to help Ben and not put finances above mental health,” Paul said. “As an agent, I understand the contractual obligations and I am responsible for it. It is no longer a question of replacement, but of finding a place where we can help Ben return and regain his spiritual strength. ”

The 76ers star has already reported that he does not want to represent the team and has shown a desire to be replaced. He later changed his position, but the basketball player still failed to return to the team, as Philadelphia head coach Dock Rivers expelled the player after one of the training sessions.
