SBS Ricoh Logistics was invited by the company’s Atsugi Baseball Club on November 2nd and October 16th and 23rd as a lecturer at the “Kids Baseball Academy” for children aged 4 to 7 to promote sports. Announced that it carried out healthy upbringing activities for children.
The “Kids Baseball Academy” was held with the aim of nurturing the future baseball population by playing easily and happily with children of the age when it is difficult to enjoy baseball.
The Atsugi Baseball Club is conscious of the fact that the target audience is small children, and is considering a program that allows them to enjoy and seriously tackle the basic movements of baseball, “throwing, hitting, and catching.” It consisted of contents that allow you to move your body vigorously and greatly over an hour and a half, such as a catch ball using a tennis ball, a batting experience using a beach ball and a hand, or a sponge ball and a plastic bat.
A total of 22 children participated on both days of the event, and the event was a constant smile.
SBS Ricoh Logistics Atsugi Baseball Club has held baseball classes for elementary and junior high school students, but this is the first educational activity for children who have no experience in baseball. In addition to fostering the baseball population, which is the purpose of the Kids Baseball Academy, we hope that many children will grow up healthy through sports, and will continue to cooperate with this project.
