The players of the Badminton Club A Estrada Rodrigo Sanjurjo and Nikol Carulla were the main protagonists of the Championship of Spain for the U-17 category played over the past weekend in Granollers. Together, they took the gold medal in the mixed doubles competition, a medal that Carulla completed with the gold added in the women’s individual.
In the case of Rodrigo Sanjurjo, it is his eighth gold medal in national championships from U-11 to U-17. As for the player of the Badminton Club A Estrada Nikol Carulla, this is her sixth triumph in a Spanish championship from the U-13 to the current doublet in the U-17.
