[아시아경제 박종일 기자] Jung-gu, Seoul (Chairman Seoho Seoho) has renovated Eungbong Neighborhood Park in Yaksu-dong so that both children and adults can use it safely and comfortably.

Using the dark and neglected space of Ssamzie Park located in Eungbong Neighborhood Park, a children’s playground in the forest was created and the old badminton court was completely renovated.

The site for the newly established children’s playground in the forest is around the entrance to Eungbong Neighborhood Park from Namsan Town Apartment, a road frequented by children commuting to Dongho Elementary School.

In this space, which had been hidden by unintentionally overgrown trees, there were no playground facilities for children to run around other than exercise facilities such as iron bars, so children would go up and down the dangerous bedrock to cool the conversations of adults.

Accordingly, the district newly renovated this space, which was covered with trees, into an open space for children, and installed a wooden play facility that made use of the huge pine tree that had been there for a long time.

Befitting the space in the forest, the children’s playground, which is made of solid wood around the perimeter and filled with bark for the floor filling, is soft and cozy.

At the same time, the badminton court, which you can see right away when you go up the stairs from the youth training center, is an aging facility, which made it inconvenient for residents to use.

Therefore, the old line belt (floor line) was replaced and a wooden deck was installed on the broken brick stand. In addition, to prevent the loss of the shuttlecock, a wooden trellis (fence) was placed and trees were planted around it. The walls were painted in tiled dark gray and transformed into a stable and calm atmosphere.

The district has been renovating old parks in the area, such as Seosomun History Park, Songijeong Sports Park, and Chunghyeon Children’s Park, by collecting the opinions of residents, and using the leftover space of the alleyway to open 20 gardens through the ‘Cultivating a Garden in My Neighborhood Alleyway’ project. has created

In addition, we are doing our best for the greening project to cultivate the emotions of the residents, such as creating green belts using seasonal plants and flowers along major roads in the region and improving the streetscape. Dongwha Children’s Park, which is currently under reconstruction, is expected to open at the end of this month.

Mayor Seo-ho Seo said, “With the remodeling of Eungbong Neighborhood Park, children can play with confidence and more residents can enjoy sports activities. “He said.
