The Phoenix Suns hosted the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night, but there was a lot to this competition beyond just a simple basketball game. Suns team owner Robert Sarver was the subject of headlines in online newspapers and newspapers after a bombshell report from ESPN revealed his alleged racist and misogynistic behavior.
Unsurprisingly, the Suns organization is taking this matter very seriously. So much so that they seem to ban all unpleasant reactions to the scandal that could put the big boss of the Arizona franchise in a bad light. A case in point is this anti-Robert Sarver sign that was allegedly confiscated by Phoenix building security from an NBA fan, as reported by ESPN’s Tim MacMahon:
Security just confiscated this Suns fan’s sign. It’s the first anti-Robert Sarver cartel I’ve seen at the Footprint Center since the NBA opened its investigation into allegations of racist and misogynist behavior by the owner of the Suns..
Robert Sarver you are a bitch 0!

We could even call this decision a censorship policy. Surely it was an offensive cartel for the Phoenix Suns fan but to all intents and purposes he was only expressing his opinion on the affair concerning Robert Sarver and the NBA. Let’s see how the Arizona franchise security will behave in the future because we are sure there will still be such signs.
